Your Right to Deletion
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data. AdPace fully supports this right and provides a clear process for data deletion requests.
What Gets Deleted
When you request data deletion, we remove the following:
- Your account profile (name, email address)
- Connected Meta ad account data (account details, campaigns, ad sets, ads)
- All intelligence and scan history associated with your accounts
- Alert history and notification preferences
- Ask AdPace conversation history
- Meta OAuth tokens and connection data
What we retain
- Payment records: Stripe retains transaction records as required by financial regulations. We retain your Stripe customer ID for accounting purposes.
- Legal obligations: Any data we are legally required to retain (e.g., for tax or fraud prevention purposes).
- Anonymised data: Aggregated, anonymised data that cannot identify you may be retained for analytics.
How to Request Data Deletion
Option 1: Email request
Send an email to team.adpace@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your AdPace account.
Option 2: From your account
If you still have access to your account, you can navigate to Settings → Account and use the delete account option. This will initiate the deletion process automatically.
Deletion Process
- We acknowledge your request within 48 hours.
- We verify your identity (we may ask you to confirm from the email address on your account).
- Your data is deleted from our systems within 30 days of verification.
- We send a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
During the deletion period, your account will be deactivated and you will not be able to access the Service.
Meta Platform Data Deletion
As a Meta Platform partner, AdPace supports Meta's data deletion callback. If you remove AdPace from your Meta account settings (under Settings → Business Integrations on Facebook), Meta will notify us and we will automatically delete all data associated with your Meta account.
Before You Delete
Please note that data deletion is permanent and irreversible. Before requesting deletion:
- Cancel any active subscription to avoid further charges.
- Export any data you wish to keep (alert history, intelligence reports) — these will not be recoverable after deletion.
- Disconnect AdPace from your Meta account if you prefer to revoke access immediately.
